Group Class Description

All classes are designed for any level of fitness: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced. Pick your level of intensity, challenge yourself and HAVE FUN!

Classes are included in membership.


Signing up is only necessary for our Spinning class because of limited space.

 
 

Zumba

 
ZUMBA® is a fusion of Latin and International music - dance themes that create a dynamic, exciting, effective fitness system ! The routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body.  Zumba® utilizes the principles of fitness interval training and resistance training to maximize caloric output, fat burning and total body toning.
 

Boot Camp

 
This class offers something for the entire body…cardio, strength, balance, flexibility. Free weights, body bars and bands are often used for toning in this class. Expect to be challenged and pushed like never before, you will love this class!
 

Pilates

 
Mat based, core strength class, incorporating flexibility and toning. Pilates is an exercise method which aims to create a balance in the body. It is designed to cater for the individual needs of each person. Pilates offers a trimmer waist, flatter belly, better posture based on a balanced muscle tone, less fatigue and lower incidence of back pain and injury. The Mats, straps and blocks used in this class are provided by Fit Zone, or you may bring your own.
 

Turbo Kick

 
This class is geared to all levels; it involves cardio kickboxing, focusing on all muscle groups. While working on specific combinations of jabs, crosses, hooks, upper cuts and kicks.
 

YOGA-LATES

 
This is a class that combines Yoga Poses with Pilates mat exercises to build CORE strength and enhance agility and balance. Yoga-Lates is a faster paced class than Yoga and provides a moderately challenging workout.
 

Spinning

 
Experience the ultimate cycling journey for total body conditioning.  You may burn upwards of 800 calories in an hour as you push your cardio limits! Work at your own level while being motivated by your instructor.
 

Advanced Cardio Blast

 
Blast calories, burn fat and boost your metabolism with this high energy class.  Sculpt your body and challenge your fitness level with strength training and cardio intervals.
 

Cardio Fit

 
A high-intensity cardiovascular workout that will keep you guessing what will come next. Exercises may range from choreographed floor aerobics, to interval training, and can be a low impact workout.
 

Step Aerobics

 
This aerobic workout includes intermediate level choreography on the step in order to increase cardiovascular fitness as well as muscular endurance. Free weights can be added for additional body toning and strengthening.
 

Butts & Guts

 
Each session will focus primarily on a variety of exercises usually without weights designed to target abdominal and gluteal muscle groups while stretching and toning "balancing" the body.  Each class will focus on form, technique, and intensity the muscles and follow up with ample stretching.


Total Fitness

 
This class combines a Butts and Guts workout with an upper body routine that will shape and define your arms, shoulders, and upper body with effective, time-efficient methods using a variety of equipment including free weights, fit ball, bands and steps. Your workout ends with hard core abdominal training.
 

Yoga

 
This class can be translated to mean union of the body, mind, and spirit. It is a non-competitive, self-paced, and sensitive to your body’s needs. It gently nurtures your body through a series of physical postures to stretch and tone the muscles, release pressure in the joints, and align and strengthen the spine. Yoga also uses breathing exercises to calm and relax the mind.
 

20/20/20

 
This class consists of 20 minutes of Cardiovascular exercise, 20 minutes of Strength Training and Toning and 20 minutes of Pilates. The three elements of training found in this class will push you to new limits!
 

Cardio Interval

 
This class is to condition cardio for all fitness levels.  A class that maximizes calorie burn by alternating cardio drills with weight training. This high intensity, fast paced work out is great for people seeking a higher level of fitness training.  Get ready for a great cardio vascular work out while focusing on toning and strength.
 

Chair Aerobics

 
A little bit of everything for the person who wants to workout on a chair. Some ball, tubing and weights. No floor work. Ideal for anyone with injuries or limitations.
 

Body Sculpting

 
This class will condition, tone and sculpt the whole body. It is designed for all fitness levels and will incorporate various exercises to train the body. Some bands, free weights, step, body bars and fit ball may be incorporated into your workout.
