Fit Zone for Women of Grand Rapids is located just eat of 5 mile on Plainfield, NE. We have a highly motivated staff that are here to help you meet your fitness goals. All of the staff have a wonderful personality, warmth, and knowledge to help you feel at home in our Women’s only fitness club.

Staff

She is our manager and has been working at Fit Zone for Women for about 5 years. She is very knowledgeable in fitness, especially in resistance training – with Nautilus machines and free weight workouts. She will greet you at the door and make you feel at home when you come in for your first appt.
She is full of Life and once you work out with Melanie, you won’t want to ever change to a different personal trainer.
She knows almost everyone by their first name and is fast to develop a relationship with members. She is an awesome motivator and knowledgeable on fitness and nutrition.
She is energetic and always on the go. She works for Fit Zone part-time and also attends school. Her sport is Lacrosse and both plays and coaches the sport.
She was a member of the club and is now a Fit Pro. She is currently attending school to be a nurse. She is full of energy and ready to help you meet your fitness goals.
She is the newest member to the Fit Zone Staff. She is very motivated and enjoys working out at the club. She is ready to encourage and motivate you. Be sure to say “HI” the next time you see her at the club.

Class Descriptions

 

Roberta Dolphin’s Class:

Beginning strength class:

This is a circuit class designed for beginners or more mature members.  The class includes lightweights, light cardio, ball and band exercises.

Yoga:

For all fitness levels.  Blend of mind and body strengthening.

Fit Mix:

For all fitness levels. One hour of cardio fun.

Sharon Sheets Classes:

Beginning Strength:

This is a circuit class designed for the beginner or mature members.  This class includes light weights, ball and band exercises.

Cardio Combo:

This class is designed for all fitness levels.  The class consists of aerobics’ and step aerobics’ with occasional use of weights and bands.

Yoga/Pilates:

for all fitness levels.  A blend of mind and body strengthening.

Gerri Johnson

Step:

For all fitness levels. Fun hour of Step aerobics.

Rosemary Dolphin

Total Body Conditioning:

This class is an alternation of two classes.  One class consists of circuit training.  It offers intervals on one song with weights and one song with cardio

Circuit:

Follow the circuit that alternates aerobic, anaerobic and strength training exercises. This workout integrates strength, cardio, and flexibility.

Sara Dunne

Cardio Mix:

This class consists of interval step and tone, step sculpt and double step.

Sculpt/Step:

This class is all steps using a variety of patterns.  This class is for all levels of fitness

Kim McDonough

Cardio Combo:
This is a multilevel class designed to challenge the beginner, intermediate and the advanced members.  Heart rates are elevated as well as core strength increased.

Brandi Angelosanto

Zumba:

This class is for all fitness levels.  Be ready to dance and shake your body for an hour of fun.

Tammy Klomp

Step tone:

This class combines cardio stepping and toning using hand weights, body bars, stability balls, resistance tubing and a fabulous abdominal workout.  Beginner to advanced fitness level.

Leslie:

Zumba:

This class is for all fitness levels.  Be ready to dance and shake your body.

Kim Brown:

Turbo kick:

Hour of high intensity cardio. Come and join the fun. Advanced workout but all are encouraged to try the class.

Natalie:

Yoga/Pilates:

One hour of mind and body wellness with core strengthening. For all fitness levels.

Kickboxing:

Hour of high-intensity cardio.  This is an advanced cardio class but al are encouraged to join in the class

Mix of Cardio:

Fun hour of cardio fitness.  Open to all fitness levels.
